Strategic Account Executives

We are currently seeking personable, tenacious, and self-starting individuals for our Sales Team to staff our Bakersfield office.


The Strategic Account Executive

Will be responsible for driving our cloud-based, core HR Workforce Management Solution software directly to medium- to large-sized businesses within a geographic territory. This position requires the ability to effectively close sales utilizing professional sales techniques. We will provide exceptional support to bolster your efforts to succeed. This position requires customer contact in the field. This is a full-time, exempt position.

STRATEGIC GOALS AND TACTICAL ABILITIES
  • Reach or Exceed Assigned Sales Goals
  • Develop and maintain a tactical sales plan for assigned territory
  • Connect prospective business’s requirements with our products and services
  • Engage prospective companies
  • Implement top-down sales tactics to target Presidents, CEOs, CFOs, and Owners to convert prospects into clients
  • Build network in person and via phone of key decision makers to develop relationships with C-level executives
  • Represent PPI Business Services in the field and at tradeshows, or the like, as required
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations with both internal and external customers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Successful outside B2B, executive-level sales experience, with proven proficiency in relationship selling: prospecting, presentation skills, closing, and territory management
  • Goal-oriented, determined and possesses the demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas
  • Proven relationship building/selling
  • Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written, digital) with C-level executives
  • Organized and possesses efficient time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Capacity to effectively manage themselves
  • Keen business judgment
  • Self-confident
  • Capacity to work under pressure
  • Strong work ethic
